Angela Lattanzio, a senior music and elementary education major at Westminster College, will perform a senior recital Saturday, April 12, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
Lattanzio's soprano voice, accompanied by Westminster College music faculty member Susan Schoeffler, will perform Haydn's "Nun beut die Fl r," Hahn's "L'heure exquise," Bizet's "Ouvre ton Coeur," and "Je dis, que rien ne m pouvante," from Carmen. The second half of the performance includes Donaudy's "Amorosi, mia giorni," "Obradors' "Chiquitita la Novia," Obradors, "Del cabello mis sutil," Puccini's "Donde lieta," and Simon's "Come to My Garden."
The Westminster College Orchestra will present "A Holiday Celebration" Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Bryan Bischof, a Westminster College senior mathematics major, and co-researcher Andrew Perriello, an undergraduate student at Penn State University New Kensington, recently gave a talk on their joint research, "On the Images of Integer Coefficient Polynomials," at MathFest, the annual summer meeting of the Mathematical Association of America, in San Jose, Calif.
