Westminster College Orchestra in Concert Dec. 3

The Westminster College Orchestra will present "A Holiday Celebration" Sunday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Jonathan Moser, the orchestra will play holiday classics such as: "March of the Toys," "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Skaters Waltz," "Hallelujah Chorus," "The Nutcracker, Suite No. 1, Op. 71a," "Sleigh Ride," "Winter Wonderland," "Stille Nacht," "Joy to the World," "Jingle Bells Forever," and "Christmas Song" better known as "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire." The program also includes a selection of Alfred Reed's Russian Christmas music: "Carol of Little Russian Children," "Antiphonal Chant," "Village Song," and "Cathedral Chorus."

Moser, who has been with Westminster College since 2005, earned his undergraduate degree from Shenandoah University and his master's from Arizona State University.
