Westminster College will host the 8th Annual Student Environmental Symposium, Thursday, December 3 in the McKelvey Campus Center. Sponsored by the Environmental Programs and the Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition, the event is free and open to the public.

In the wake of the November 13th attacks in Paris, our thoughts and prayers remain with those affected by the tragedy. Our thoughts and concerns also are with Westminster students and faculty who are living and learning abroad this semester. College administrators continue to monitor the situation across Europe and to rely on reports from the U.S. State Department and our study abroad partners; we are confident that our students and faculty colleagues are safe to complete the remaining weeks of the fall semester and to return to the United States at the scheduled end of their programs.

Westminster College broadcast and media production majors will present the 2015 Capstone Documentary Showcase starting at 1 p.m., Dec. 5, in Mueller Theater, McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.

Joining together to lend a helping hand during the holiday season, 60 first year students will spend the next week working on the Inquiry Blanket Project, selling blankets to raise money for Kiva and Royal Family Kids Camps.

To celebrate the Westminster College Titan Football team earning their spot in the DIII Football Bowl Championships at Central Connecticut State University, the Alumni Association will host an all-campus Titan Bowl Game Watch Party, 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 in the Titan Club. The event is free and open to faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
