Joining together to lend a helping hand during the holiday season, 60 first year students will spend the next week working on the Inquiry Blanket Project, selling blankets to raise money for Kiva and Royal Family Kids Camps.

“This project promotes learning, experience and understanding of service and giving as we work toward the outcome of building character at Westminster,” said Brad Weaver, broadcast and media production lecturer.

The Kiva Project supports individuals around the world in search of a small, no-interest loan to help improve the quality of their lives, help them with a business and support hope and respect as they try to help themselves. The Kiva loans are paid back so the money can go out in future loans.

The week following Thanksgiving, students will sell the blankets in the TUB (Titan Union Building) during lunch and dinner hours.
