Westminster College announces two new trustees

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College President Dr. Kathy Brittain Richardson has announced the appointment of two new members to the Westminster College Board of Trustees.

Christian Heilmann ’72, retired vice chairman of U.S. Trust and past fiduciary executive, and Mark DeWitt, retired first vice president of BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh, will each serve four-year terms.

Heilmann, a former member of Westminster College’s Board of Trustees and the Board of Distinguished Visitors, previously served as managing director at Bank of America NA, where he was chairman of the Fiduciary Risk Oversight Committee. He is past chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Merrill Lynch Trust Company.

Heilmann earned Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and Certified Financial Services Counselor designations from the Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. He resides in New Hartford, N.Y.

At BNY Mellon, DeWitt handled private capital management, wealth management, endowments and foundations. He has served on the alumni board at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and is a corporate trustee representative for the Arthur Vining Davis Foundation.

DeWitt earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He currently resides in Pittsburgh.
