Westminster College’s Celebrity Series ushers in the holiday season with Michael Cavanaugh’s music-filled holiday show on Tuesday, Dec. 16 in the College’s Will W. Orr Auditorium.  
 
Hand-picked by Billy Joel to star in the hit Broadway musical “Movin’ Out,” Cavanaugh—a Tony and Grammy nominated vocalist—will combine modern Christmas songs like “Last Christmas” and “Wonderful Christmastime” with classic holiday hits like “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” to create a fun musical show for the yuletide season.  

Cavanaugh was named Billboard’s “New Voice of the American Rock and Roll Songbook.” Broadway World referred to Cavanaugh as “The New Piano Man” and Reuters named Cavanaugh Entertainer of the Year for his extensive work on the stage.
