Swimming & Diving: Fast and May Set for NCAA Nationals

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Westminster College junior Kaitlyn Fast (Wooster, OH / Wooster) and sophomore Connor May (Highlands Ranch, CO / Glacier Park) will compete at the four-day NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, starting on Wednesday March 20.
 
Fast is the first female diver to qualify for Nationals in school history. At Regionals, she placed 11th in the 1-meter dive with 381.40 points and finished fifth in the 3-meter dive with 439.70 points - her career-best performance at Regionals.
 
May defended his 3-meter Regional title, as he won with a score of 541.20 points. May won the 1-meter dive, becoming the first Titan to win both events at Regionals in school history. May is making his second-straight trip Nationals as he made history last year with an All-American finish in the 3-meter as the school's first-ever diver to qualify for Nationals. May placed fifth on the three-meter board with 502.10 points and also placed 14th in the 1-meter dive, with a score of 425.30, for All-America Honorable Mention status.
 
The diving schedule for the 2018-19 NCAA Championships is as follows:
 
Wednesday: Women's 3-meter dive trials (10 a.m.) | Women's 3-meter dive finals (6 p.m.)
Thursday: Men's 1-meter dive trials (10 a.m.) | Men's 1-meter dive finals (6 p.m.)
Friday: Women's 1-meter dive trials (10 a.m.) | Women's 1-meter dive finals (6 p.m.)
Saturday: Men's 3-meter dive trials (10 a.m.) | Men's 3-meter dive finals (6 p.m.)
 
The Championships will be held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, N.C.
