NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Two Westminster College students attended the Zeta Tau Alpha's 51st National and 40th International Convention and accepted awards on the college's behalf June 27-July 1 in Louisville, Ky.

Hannah Grace Bonzo and Kristen Basista represented Westminster's Delta Omega Chapter and joined over 800 collegiate and alumnae members and national officers at the biennial convention. This included the legislative body, which consisted of delegates from 159 collegiate chapters and more than 235 alumnae organizations. Members attended programs on chapter management, membership recruitment, and held elections for the 2012-2014 national council. They also launched the new foundation website, where women can sign up for email reminders for monthly self-breast exams.

Bonzo, the chapter's president, accepted six awards on the chapter's behalf: Financial Improvement, Academic Achievement, Quota/Total, Crown Chapter, Founders Club $25,000 level and Silver Standards Award. Bonzo, a senior public relations major, is a daughter of Todd and Joy Bonzo of New Sewickley Township and a graduate of Freedom Area High School.

Basista, a junior neuroscience major, serves as ritual chair and is a daughter of William and Cheryl Basista and a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School, Ohio.
