Spring Orchestra Concert May 6

The Westminster College Orchestra will present a concert Sunday, May 6, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Under the baton of Jonathan Moser, instructor of music, the orchestra will perform: "Light Cavalry Overture" by Franz von Suppe; "Lord God of Abraham" from Elijah by Felix Mendelssohn, featuring David Timm, a junior music education major from St. Marys, as Elias; "Concerto for Bassoon in F major" featuring Stephen Wheeler, a sophomore mathematics major from Crescent, on the bassoon; and "Symphony No. 7 in A major Op 92" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
