Westminster College invites students, alumni, staff and community members to step onto the Quad for “Quad Talks: Westminster College History in Context,” a 30-minute program exploring the people, places and stories that have shaped Westminster.

The program, scheduled from 2:30 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, following the annual Professional Network Symposium, will feature 2013 alumna Cecilia (Klein) Muzika-Minteer, who will share insights into Westminster’s architectural history. Students also will offer brief presentations before the program concludes with informal conversations about the College’s past.

With Westminster preparing to celebrate its 175th anniversary in 2027, the program offers an opportunity to look back, share stories and consider how the College’s history continues to shape its identity today.

The event is part of “We Want More History!,” a nationwide celebration of history programming taking place Sept. 25-27. Organized by leading historical, library and education organizations, the initiative brings history into the places where people live, learn and gather through talks, exhibits, tours, conversations and other community programs.

The event will take place on the Quad. In case of rain, the program will move to Patterson Hall, Room 207.

Community members of all ages are welcome. Admission is free.
