The Westminster College Celebrity Series has announced its 2026-2027 season, featuring legendary rock band Three Dog Night, London’s acclaimed Barricade Boys, the holiday harmonies of Under the Streetlamp, the high-energy dance spectacle The StepCrew and a tribute to Sir Paul McCartney starring Tony Kishman.
All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in Will W. Orr Auditorium on the Westminster College campus.
Sponsored by Shenango on the Green, the iconic classic rock band Three Dog Night opens the season on Saturday, Sept. 26. With 21 consecutive Top 40 hits, including three No. 1 singles and 11 Top 10 hits, the group dominated the charts from 1969 through 1974. Fans can expect timeless favorites including “Joy to the World,” “Mama Told Me (Not to Come),” “Shambala,” “One,” “Black and White,” “Never Been to Spain” and many more.
Direct from London’s West End, The Barricade Boys take the stage on Tuesday, Oct. 13. The four acclaimed vocalists—known for performances in productions including “Les Misérables,” “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Wicked,” “Billy Elliot” and “The Sound of Music”—combine Broadway favorites with pop, rock, swing and Motown classics in an energetic evening of music and storytelling. The holiday season comes to Orr Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 12, when Under the Streetlamp presents its “Hip to the Holidays” show. Featuring the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and beyond, the former cast members of the Tony Award-winning musical “Jersey Boys” perform holiday favorites alongside beloved hits from the Great American Songbook, blending nostalgia, humor and show-stopping harmonies. This show is sponsored by Shenango on the Green and First Choice Federal Credit Union.
The StepCrew, sponsored by North Memorial Animal Hospital, brings its electrifying dance production to Westminster on Saturday, March 6, 2027. Led by Irish dance star Cara Butler and acclaimed step dancers Jon and Nathan Pilatzke, the show combines Irish step dance, Ottawa Valley step dancing and tap into a high-energy theatrical performance featuring live music, soaring vocals and dazzling choreography.
Closing the season on Saturday, April 24, 2027, is “Live and Let Die: The Music of Paul McCartney” featuring Tony Kishman. A veteran of Broadway’s “Beatlemania,” Kishman recreates McCartney's iconic songs with a multimedia production celebrating the music of The Beatles, Wings and McCartney’s solo career, including hits such as “Hey Jude,” “Maybe I'm Amazed,” “Penny Lane” and “Live and Let Die.” This performance is sponsored by UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon.
