Westminster College Celebrity Series will present Motown legend The Commodores at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 on campus in the Orr Auditorium.

For over 50 years, The Commodores have been one of the most successful vocal groups of all time with seven number one singles and five number one albums over their career. They will perform their chart-topping hits like “Easy,” “Brick House,” “Three Times a Lady,” “Nightshift” and more.

The members of the group were formed in 1968 while attending the Tuskegee Institute. After being discovered by Motown founder Berry Gordy, The Commodores went on to sell over 60 million records. Today, the group is still led by founding member William King.

The Grammy Award-winning group remains relevant in the pop and R&B music industry by continuing to tour and share their talent with international audiences.
