Westminster College welcomed two new faculty members to the campus community for the 2025-2026 academic year. Joining the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is Dr. Dominic Sirianni, while the School of Education added Dr. Claire (Celli) Fauzey ’08 to its teaching and conducting roster.

Sirianni, assistant professor of chemistry, comes to Westminster from Daemen University in Amherst, N.Y., where he served as an assistant professor in the Department of Natural Sciences. Previously, he completed a postdoctoral research appointment at the University of Richmond, working in the Parish Lab at the Gottwald Center for the Sciences.

Sirianni earned his Ph.D. in physical chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where his research focused on electronic structure methods for studying non-covalent interactions in complex chemical environments. While at Georgia Tech, he also gained experience as a graduate teaching assistant, graduate research assistant and systems administrator. He holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

A Westminster alumna, Fauzey returns to her alma mater as an assistant professor of education. She brings more than 15 years of experience in education, with much of her career dedicated to the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School. Since 2014, she has taught seventh grade mathematics in a virtual classroom. She previously served as a long-term substitute teacher in the New Castle Area School District, as a reassignment center teacher in the Laurel Area School District and as a substitute teacher in the Neshannock, New Castle and Ellwood City school districts.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a post-baccalaureate certificate from Westminster, as well as a Master of Education in professional school counseling. She later earned a Master of Education in special education and a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration from Slippery Rock University.
