Celebrity Series kicks off 2019-20 season with 'An Evening with John Lloyd Young'

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College Celebrity Series will kick off its 2019-2020 season with An Evening with John Lloyd Young at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in Orr Auditorium on the Westminster College campus.

Young, a film, stage and concert artist, will take the stage with his repertoire of classic pop and rhythm and blues. He will be joined by Tommy Faragher, award-winning music producer, who has served as his musical director since 2012.

As the original “Frankie Valli” in Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical “Jersey Boys,” Young has garnered a collection of accolades. He is a Tony Award and Grammy Award winner, a multi-platinum recording artist and a Presidential Appointee.

As a Grammy-nominated producer, Faragher has written and produced for artists including Kelly Clarkson and Celine Dion. His film and television works include FOX’s “Glee” and HBO’s “The Normal Heart.”
