BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. - The Westminster College women's golf team won the 2018-19 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship on Saturday afternoon.  The Titans fired a team score of 360 in the third and final round to vault over Washington and Jefferson College to claim the title with a three-day total of 1113.  The Titans rallied down six strokes entering the day, to win the title by a total of 75 strokes over the Presidents.

The PAC Women's Golf Title was Westminster's fourth overall and first since 2012.

Sophomore Mariah Hoff (Vienna, OH / Matthews) shot a 98 to pair with her two-day total of 180 from the fall to finish best for the Titans at third place. Westminster first-year Jocelyn Behr (Murrysville, PA / Franklin Regional) shot a final round score of 84 for fourth-place to pace the Titans on Saturday. Behr's 84 marked the lowest round of her collegiate career. Junior Emily Marcus (South Park, PA / South Park) carded an 87 on her final round to finish right behind Behr at fifth overall. Rounding out the scoring efforts for the Titans was junior Alexa Hutchinson (Geneva, OH / Geneva), with a score of 95. First-year Riana Smith (Kane, PA / Kane Area) finished off the lineup for Westminster, carding a 107 to cap off a historic day for the Titans.

Three Titans received All-PAC recognition for their performances. Hoff, Behr, and Marcus all earned First Team All-PAC honors by placing in the top five for the tournament. Behr was also named to the PAC Sportsmanship team.

Head Coach Matt Torrence was named the PAC "Coach of the Year". Torrence led the Titans to the second-best, three-day conference championship score in program history, and also nabbed the second-best single day score in a conference championship tournament for the Titans.

With the victory, the Titans received the automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships. The 2019 Championships will be contested at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas over May 14-17.
