In honor of Constitution Day, Dr. Edward Cohen will lecture on the meaning and history of the Constitution at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in Patterson Hall 207.

Cohen’s lecture is titled, The U.S. Constitution After 230 Years.

Every year the political science and history departments take turns presenting on an important aspect of the Constitution. This year, Cohen will be discussing the goals, evolution, and interpretation of the U.S. Constitution, which is now almost 230 years old.

Federal law requires the college to have an event to celebrate the adoption of the proposed Constitution by the Constitutional Convention on Sept. 17, 1787 in Philadelphia.
