Dr. R. Tad Greig, professor of music and director of bands, was honored at the recent state conference by receiving the “Outstanding Bandmaster Award” from the Nu Chapter (Pennsylvania) of Phi Beta Mu, the International Bandmasters’ Fraternity.

“Dr. Greig’s work as the Director of Bands in Westminster’s School of Music is exemplary,” said Dr. Daniel Perttu, associate professor of music. “We are very fortunate here to have a faculty member in band and music education whose professional accomplishments rival those of his counterparts at large university schools of music. Dr. Greig is highly respected in his field, and this award attests to this fact.”

Dr. Greig is also the Director of Instrumental Activities which includes administering the Titan Marching Band and conducting the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band.
