As Westminster College prepares to celebrate its 175th anniversary in 2027, alumni and members of the Westminster community are invited to leave a lasting mark on campus through the College’s Alumni Brick Program.
Personalized commemorative bricks are now available for purchase for placement in Weisel Senior Terrace located outside of Old Main. The program provides an opportunity to celebrate a Westminster experience, honor a loved one, recognize a class or commemorate a special milestone.
“So many alumni I speak with recognize the profound impact Westminster has had on their lives. Although they may physically move away from campus and continue along life’s journey, this opportunity allows them to leave a little piece of themselves, or a loved one, behind at a place that holds such a special meaning in their hearts,” said Kara Montgomery, senior director of alumni engagement. “Knowing these are also gifts to the College makes it even more meaningful, allowing them to support our dear Mother Fair as she begins her next 175 years.”
Two options are available for the 4-by-8-inch pavers. Text-only pavers are $250, while pavers featuring a Westminster W logo or athletic W logo are $275. Pavers may be personalized with up to three lines of text, with a maximum of 20 characters per line for bricks without a logo and 16 characters per line for bricks with a logo. Greek letters also are available.
Those purchasing a full-size paver also may order a 2-by-4-inch miniature replica brick for $30. Miniature bricks are available only in a red shade.
The brick program is part of Westminster’s preparations for its upcoming 175th anniversary celebration in 2027, offering Titans near and far an opportunity to become part of the College’s history while looking toward its future.
Bricks can be ordered online at www.westminster.edu/bricks. Those attending Westminster’s Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 2-3, can also purchase a brick in person at the Alumni Brick Program tent at the Hot Spot.
