The Westminster College Jazz Ensemble will present their spring showcase at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Berlin Lounge, located in the College’s McKelvey Campus Center.

The concert will be under the direction of Dr. JoKobe Henry, assistant professor of music. A variety of jazz styles—such as swing, Afro-Cuban, cha-cha and funk—will be performed by The Dirty Dogs Jazz Combo and Westminster College Jazz Ensemble. The concert will also feature the premiere of arrangements by music education majors Ryan Lucas, a sophomore from Clariton, Pa., and senior Jacob Weber from Monaca, Pa.

The event is free and open to the public.
