What are students up to on a daily basis at Westminster, you ask? Meet Brandon Hunsinger ’23, a junior computer information systems major.

What are you involved with on campus?
I’ll be serving as the vice president of Theta Chi fraternity and the president of Interfraternity Council (IFC) this coming spring. I’m involved in a few ensembles on campus such as the Titan Marching Band and the Symphonic Band. In addition, I’m also involved in ESports Club and Ultimate Frisbee Club.

How is your semester going?
The semester has had its ups and downs so far, but it’s great to be back to as close to normal as we’ve been the past couple of years! The classes have been challenging for me this semester, but they’re nothing more than I can handle.

What has been your favorite class this semester—and what’s one thing you’ve learned in that class?
My favorite class this semester is Data Structures with Dr. Blumenthal. As of now, we are looking at various methods that programmers and data scientists use to efficiently organize and utilize data such as using trees, heaps, lists and so on.

What type of events have you gone to on campus?
I have been to a few events on campus such as DIY, SGA Day, Halloween Bash and SAGA Karaoke.

If you had to choose one word to describe your college experience, what would it be and why?
Rewarding! I’ve loved my time on campus so far due to the friends that I’ve made and all the experiences that I’ve been fortunate to have while being at Westminster.
