Westminster College's Dance Theatre will present its annual spring show Thursday-Saturday, March 29-31, in Orr Auditorium.  The performance, which involves nearly 65 students, is open to the public.

This year's theme, "Dance Like No One is Watching," will feature a variety of dance styles choreographed by current dance members.  The opening number will feature choreography by television's "So You Think You Can Dance" season six participant Peter Sabasino.

A highlight of this year's show will be Dance Theatre alumni returning to perform choreography by Gina Sharbaugh, Westminster senior associate director of admissions, who is celebrating her 25th year as Dance Theatre's artistic director.  Alumni dancers include: Christy Jewell Delullo '94, James Delullo '94, Angela Steck Lansberry '02, Jollene Weister Pratte '05, Lynn Rice '10, Krista Sekelik '10, Michelle Sekelik '08, and Tara Timpano '05.

Showtime Thursday and Friday is 8 p.m.; Saturday's matinee is at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children (age five and up) and senior citizens, and will be available at the door.  Westminster students, faculty, and staff can attend for $1.

Dance Theatre, established at Westminster more than 30 years ago, is open to all students interested in dance and movement.  Weekly technique classes are supplemented by periodic master classes conducted by guest artists.  The annual show highlights the year's activities and participation is by audition.
