Westminster College Church Relations to Host Continuing Education Event

The Westminster College Church Relations Office will host the second in a series of continuing education events Tuesday, Oct. 24 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Russell Hall.
Dr. Andrew Purves, Hugh Thomson Kerr Professor of Pastoral Theology, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, will speak on "Pastoral Care in the Classical Tradition."
"Pastoral work is at all points guided by biblical and theological perspectives, and these biblical and theological perspectives, properly rooted in the gospel of salvation, are discovered to be inherently pastoral," wrote Purves.
