Westminster College’s Office of Faith and Spirituality will host an evening filled with traditional and contemplative prayer in the Anglican and Episcopal traditions at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 in the Wallace Memorial Chapel.
The Evensong and Remembering the Saints service is known for its rich choral music with a strong emphasis on the beauty of hymns and scripture. The service will focus on remembering those who departed this past year. Sharing the names of loved ones and lifting them up in remembrance and prayer together.
The chorus of students will perform much of the service with the congregation participating through hymns and prayers.
Worship participants include Westminster College Chaplain and Director of Church Relations, Rev. James R. Mohr, II, professor of music Dr. Ryan Keeling and music faculty member, Mr. Mitchell Stecker.
