Westminster College’s symphony orchestra winter concert Feb. 23

The Westminster College Symphony Orchestra will present its winter concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Will W. Orr Auditorium on Westminster’s campus.

The orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Melinda H. Crawford Perttu, associate professor of music, will perform pieces ranging from Bordin’s Overture to “Prince Igor,” to Schubert’s Symphony No. 8 “Unfinished.”

The orchestra will also perform Mozart’s Wie start ist nicht dein Zauberton from “The Magic Flute” featuring tenor William Ambert, adjunct music faculty, as well as Puccini’s Nessun Dorma from “Turnadot.”

The concert is free and open to the public and will also be live-streamed for those at home.
