Westminster Students to Distribute Organ Donor Information

Members of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at Westminster College will set up a booth to distribute organ donor information during Spring Honors Convocation Saturday, April 26, at 11 a.m. in Orr Auditorium.

 "The PRSSA's goal is not only to promote benefits of organ donation, but also to encourage people to communicate with family members about the matter," said Kaitlyn Clark, freshman public relations major from Hiller and chair of the organ donation committee.  "Not many people know about the fact that the family of patients intending to donate their organs can actually override their decision, but it is true.  This is why communication within each family is very important."

Westminster College will host internationally-acclaimed flutist Dr. Andrea Loewy and pianist Dr. Yuling Huang-Davie in "Masterworks for Flute and Piano" recital Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
