I hope this email finds you well. I am writing today with challenging news regarding your arrival to campus. Late last week, the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced a required 14-day quarantine for individuals traveling to Pennsylvania from the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Dear Titans:
I hope that your summer is going well and that you are looking forward to classes resuming this fall. As you likely have seen from President Richardson’s communications and Westminster’s social media, we plan to welcome you to campus next month. Classes will not necessarily look the same in the fall as they have in previous semesters, and so I wanted to give you a sense of what to expect as we make adjustments related to the COVID-19 virus. There are many important details about academic life, and I encourage you to read this email in its entirety.

Last week, you were notified of our adjusted academic calendar and were promised move-in information as soon as possible. At this time, I want to provide you with a set of move-in dates for different student populations; additional detailed schedules will be provided by the end of June.
Our priority is to establish a move-in schedule that follows State guidelines and keeps students and their families healthy and safe. Just as move-out was scheduled and highly controlled, Fall 2020 move in must be as well. Students will be assigned move-in times on their respective dates. You will be limited to 2 guests to help you move in, and you must be prepared to follow posted physical distancing requirements. Again, the detailed schedule will be communicated by the end of June.
Students can expect their scheduled move in time to coincide with these general move-in dates:
Resident Assistants: August 2 (Training August 3-9)
Orientation Leaders: August 8 (Training August 9-12)
Select Fall Athletes* August 10
Marching Band: August 11
New Students: August 13 (Orientation August 14-16)
Returning Students: August 14-16
* Men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis and volleyball
