Westminster College junior Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Hollidaysburg) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Turiano combined to go 4-0 last week for Westminster, helping the Titans close out their league schedule a perfect 8-0. She posted a 6-1, 6-0 win over W&J's Kathryn Chase at number four singles and paired with junior Christijana Vucenovic (West Middlesex, PA / West Middlesex) to win  8-5 at number two doubles. Turiano rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 fourth singles win over Bethany's Alyssa Smydo and once again teamed with Vucenovic to win 8-0 at second doubles.

The Titans, a three-time PAC Champion, will be the no. 1 seed at the 2015 PAC Championships Tournament which takes place Friday (Oct. 23) and Saturday (Oct. 24) at the Pennbriar Athletic Club in Erie, Pa. Matches will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day.
