Posted on Tuesday, November 8, 2005

The Westminster College Celebrity Series presents "The Spirit of Christmas" Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

"This is one of the most delightful and enchanting Christmas shows ever produced," said Gene DeCaprio, director of the Celebrity Series.  "The best-loved Christmas songs are combined with gorgeous costumes, magical scenery, and superb singers and dancers.  The joys of Christmas come to life with this show."

The program of music includes: "White Christmas," "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire," "Happy Holiday," "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "The Little Drummer Boy," "Silent Night," "O Come all ye Faithful," "Joy to the World," "The First Noel," "I'll be Home for Christmas," "Deck the Halls," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," and many more.

Westminster's Orr Auditorium was recently remodeled to include air conditioning, stage elevator, new carpeting, and re-upholstered seats, along with stage lighting and shell improvements.
