NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College student Steven Totin, a junior fine art major, was awarded a merit scholarship to attend Ox-Bow during the summer of 2013.
Ox-Bow is an art school located in Saugatuck, Michigan, that offers artist residencies and a wide variety of art classes throughout the year. Totin will attend one of the school's two-week summer art courses. The scholarship was based on Totin's artist portfolio and an essay describing his work and what he seeks to gain from attending the school.
Totin is a son of Ronald and Lisanna Hancox-Totin and a graduate of New Castle High School.
