Music Majors Performed for Local Music Club

Six Westminster College music majors presented a program for the New Castle Music Club March 27 at Northminster Presbyterian Church.

The students who performed were:
   • Soprano Kathleen Bachtel, a music performance major, is a daughter of Michael and Jennifer Bachtel of Massillon, Ohio, and a graduate of Washington High School.
   • Soprano Rayna Brooks, a music education major, is a daughter of Leah Brooks of Sharpsville and a graduate of Sharpsville High School.
   • Baritone Christian Heasley, a music education major, is a son of Daniel and Lisa Heasley of New Castle and a graduate of Laurel High School.
   • Soprano Elise Heater, a music performance major, is a daughter of Ronald and Kathleen Heater of Creswell, Ore., and a graduate of Creswell High School.
   • Guitarist Timothy Skero, a music education major, is a son of Timothy and Rosemary Skero of Hermitage and a graduate of Hickory High School.
   • Clarinetist John Stumpff, a music education major, is a son of Gerald and Sharon Stumpff of Greenville and a graduate of Greenville High School.

The program was organized by Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, Westminster associate professor of music, and the students were accompanied by pianist Marie Libal-Smith, Westminster adjunct music faculty.
