Westminster College's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will host a workshop for school superintendents and administrators Monday, Nov. 7, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Witherspoon Lakeview Room of McKelvey Campus Center.
"Legal and Policy Issues Facing School Administrators in 2011-2012" is sponsored by the Drinko Center and the Tri-State Area School Study Council. Presentations will cover "Employee and District Rights and Responsibilities," "School Disciplinary Authority over Students," and "The Pitfalls of Social Networking" and an advisory panel will address participants' questions.
The workshop qualifies for Act 48 credits.
