Westminster College's Peace Studies Program will host Middle East correspondent Joshua Mitnick Thursday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge of the McKelvey Campus Center. The program is free and open to the public.
Mitnick will speak on "Israel-Palestine Dispatch: A Foreign Correspondent's Backstory on the Challenges Reporting on One of the World's Most Contentious Conflicts."
Mitnick grew up in Highland Park, N.J., and attended the University of Michigan, where he was the managing editor of the Michigan Daily. Now living in Tel Aviv with his wife and two children, he is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal, Christian Science Monitor, and New York Jewish Week, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
