Symphonic Band to Present Mid-Winter Concert

The Westminster College Symphonic Band will present a mid-winter concert Friday, Feb. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.  The program is free and open to the public.

Selections include: "Sky Dance" and "Confluence (Allegheny Lament and Dance of the Monongahela)" by Richard Saucedo; "Elegy for a Young American" by Ronald Lo Presti; "Caccia and Chorale" by Clifton Williams; "Dusk" by Stephen Bryant; Alfred Reed's arrangement of "March ‘Grandioso'" by Roland Seitz; and Reed's "Alleluia! Laudamus Te."

The band is under the direction of Dr. R. Tad Greig, associate professor and director of bands, who serves as chair of Westminster's Department of Music.
