Once banned in Boston for its controversial story, The Children's Hour is based on a true story about the power of a lie. When a young girl is disciplined at boarding school, she accuses the headmistress and a female teacher of an inappropriate relationship. When the lie is believed, lives are destroyed.
The play is under the direction of John Gresh, adjunct faculty in Westminster's Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Art.
Gianni Downs, Westminster assistant professor of theatre, is the set designer.
Paula Ferguson, Westminster stage manager, is the technical director.
