Faculty Forum Continues at Westminster Jan. 26 with Exploration of John Irving

Dorita Bolger, professor and librarian, and Dr. Richard Sprow, professor of English, begin the spring  Faculty Forum presentations Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 11:45 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.

 "In our presentation, Beware the Under Toad: The World According to John Irving,' we will talk about our sabbatic work on John Irving, the advantages of collaborative research, and read excerpts from interviews that Irving has given to provide a sense of his artistic expression," Bolger said.

 Bolger, who has been with Westminster College since 1981, earned her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and her master's from Clarion University.

 Sprow, who has been with Westminster College since1976, earned his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University, and his master's and Ph.D. from Purdue University.

 Faculty forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among Westminster College faculty.  Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.
