Six Westminster College faculty recently received promotions.
Dr. Andrew Ade, who joined the Westminster faculty in 2003, was tenured and promoted to associate professor of English. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and a master's and Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Patricia Clark, who has been with Westminster since 2004, was tenured and promoted to associate professor of history. Dr. R. Tad Greig, who has been with Westminster since 1995, was promoted to associate professor of music. He is chair of the Department of Music and director of bands. He earned an undergraduate degree from Grove City College, a master's from Youngstown State University, and Ph.D. from Kent State University. Dr. Jamie McMinn, who has been with Westminster since 2003, was tenured and promoted to associate professor of psychology. Dr. Thomas Oberst, who joined the Westminster faculty in 2008, completed his Ph.D. and was promoted to assistant professor of physics. Dr. Suzanne Prestien, who joined the Westminster faculty in 1997, was tenured and promoted to associate professor of English and public relations.
