Fifty-one Westminster College students will study at off-campus locations ranging from Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., to London, France, Spain, Italy, and Costa Rica for the fall 2009 semester.
Thirty students are part of the Westminster in London program, accompanied by two Westminster faculty, who will each teach two courses.
Dr. Terri Lenox, associate professor of computer science and co-director of Westminster's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, will teach Math Perspectives and Computer-Supported Collaborative Work, half of a cluster course.
Dr. Jamie McMinn, associate professor of psychology, will teach Introduction to Psychology and The Psychology of Small Groups, the other half of the cluster course.
In addition to the Westminster courses, students in the program can choose from a list of classes offered at the CAPA London Study Center.
The study-abroad program has been a strong part of Westminster for decades. Westminster is part of a student exchange program with over 100 schools, allowing Westminster students to travel all over the world and receive the same rates and financial aid as if they remained at Westminster.
