A book introduction written by Dr. Bryan Rennie, Vira I. Heinz professor of religion at Westminster College, was recently translated into Romanian for inclusion in the summer issue of Origini: Romanian Roots.
The journal is a review of literature, ideas, and the arts sponsored by Literart XXI, the International Association of Romanian Writers and Artists. The issue is dedicated to Mircea Eliade.
Elena Borta translated Rennie's "Introduction" to the edited volume Changing Religious Worlds: The Meaning and End of Mircea Eliade.
Rennie, who has been with Westminster since 1992, earned an undergraduate degree, master's and Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. He has authored four books and numerous articles on Eliade.
