Eighteen Westminster College students participated in the American Model United Nations International Conference Nov. 22-25 in Chicago.
Their participation was funded in part by grants from Westminster's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
They were accompanied by Dr. Michael Aleprete, Westminster assistant professor of political science.
Dr. Terri Lenox, Westminster College associate professor of computer science and co-director of the Drinko Center, said, "The Undergraduate Research Initiative provides funding for students to participate in regional and national conferences."
All grant recipients have the opportunity to participate in Westminster's Undergraduate Research Symposium in April.
