Westminster College students in broadcast communications instructor Bradley Weaver's class will present their capstone project over the next few weeks.
Nicole Piszczor presented "Reliving History through Feature Storytelling" Nov. 17. Taking on the role of feature videographer/reporter, Piszczor produced a short feature film, "Lawrence County: A Community Rooted in History," that debuted at her presentation.
Piszczor is a daughter of Theresa Piszczor and Michael Piszczor, both of Broadview Heights, Ohio, and a graduate of Holy Name High School.
Shayna Marti presented a documentary, "Helping Hands," Nov. 18. Her film explored the projects completed by His Hands Ministry, an effort coordinated by the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership that uses volunteer labor to complete construction projects for families in the area.
Marti is a daughter of Jack and Geraldine Marti of New Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington Area High School.
Douglas Kunst will share "Hounds Roundup" Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center. Kunst followed the Wilmington High School football team through their 2008 season, creating a weekly blog of game highlights and coaches' and players' interviews.
Kunst, a son of Douglas and Janice Kunst of Bellevue, is a graduate of Northgate High School.
Christina Roseto will present "Westminster College Football: Recruiting the Best from the Rest" Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. in Mueller Theater. The recruitment video features the best Titan plays of the season and interviews with coaches and players.
Roseto, a daughter of John and Patricia Roseto of McKees Rocks, is a graduate of Our Lady Sacred Heart High School.
Nathan Dodd will present "Identity Crisis: Promoting Westminster Cable Network" Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. in Mueller Theater. Dodd will show the various methods he has used to promote the campus television station and its live weekly news magazine The County Line.
Dodd, a son of Dorthea Aiter of Meadville, is a graduate of Meadville Area High School.
Aimee Gerber's presentation, "Strength in Living," will be given Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. in Mueller Theater. The documentary follows the lives of three local breast cancer survivors who have founded Par for the Cure, a charity to assist other survivors.
Gerber is a daughter of Ronald and Laurie Alexander of New Castle and a graduate of Dacula High School.
Alex Hines will share "Beating the Deadline" Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. in Mueller Theater. His presentation explores the new methods of filming and editing that combine with the age-old pressure of getting the stories done before the deadline.
Hines is a son of James and Elizabeth Hines of New Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington Area High School.
Thomas Miller will present "A Producer Takes the Blame and all the Faults: The Special Premiere Edition of The County Line" Dec. 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the campus television studio on the second floor of Thompson-Clark Hall. Miller will show what a producer does to deliver the news.
Miller, a son of Rick and Marilyn Miller of New Castle, is a graduate of Wilmington Area High School.
William Sadler will participate in an actual presentation/interview with management at WKBN-TV in Youngstown, Ohio, where he will present his résumé DVD.
Sadler is a son of Cheryl Sadler and Raymond Sadler, both of Youngstown, Ohio, and a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School.
