Westminster College's Celebrity Series will present the musical Evita Tuesday, April 15, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Winner of seven Tony Awards, Evita is the story of Eva Peron, the larger-than-life wife of the Argentine dictator, who captivated her country by championing the working class. The production features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice, including the popular "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina."
The large-scale touring production stars Malia Tippets as Eva; Omar Lopez-Cepero as Che; and Philip Peterson as Peron.
