Eight Westminster College students will participate in a vocal competition sponsored by the Tri-State Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing March 29 at West Virginia University.
The students are:
Karen Biddle, a sophomore music performance major, is a daughter of Richard and Cheryl Biddle of Silver Spring, Md., and a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School.
Claudia Brown, a junior sacred music and music education major, is a daughter of Ronald Brown of Pittsburgh and Gaynelle Shepherd of Sierra Vista, Ariz. She is a graduate of North Hills High School.
Ashley Cesaratto, a senior music education major, is a daughter of Dale and Dawn Cesaratto of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Penn Hills High School.
Sonia Firster, a senior music education major, is a daughter of Samuel and Kathleen Firster of Titusville and a graduate of Maplewood High School.
Kimberly Hasara, a senior music performance major, is a daughter of James and Karen Hasara of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Avonworth High School.
William McCullough, a senior music performance major, is a son of William and Suzanne McCullough of DuBois and a graduate of DuBois Area High School.
David Timm, a senior music education major, is a son of Robert and Sheri Timm of St. Marys and a graduate of Saint Marys Area High School.
Stephanie Witzorreck, a senior music education major, is a daughter of Arnold and Kathy Witzorreck of Jamestown and a graduate of Jamestown Area High School.
Traveling with the students are Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, Westminster College associate professor of music; William Ambert, Westminster College adjunct voice faculty; and Marie Libal-Smith, Westminster College adjunct music faculty and accompanist.
