Westminster College recently added four new full-time faculty members.
Dr. Michael E. Aleprete Jr., assistant professor of political science, earned his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and his master's and doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He was a visiting assistant professor at Franklin and Marshall College and has additional teaching experience at Dickinson College, The Pennsylvania State University (Erie and New Kensington campuses), Berry College, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Douglas N. Armstead, assistant professor of physics, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and his doctorate from the University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Danielle M. Ficco, visiting assistant professor of sociology, earned her undergraduate and master's degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. Jason Howard, visiting lecturer of music, earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from Youngstown State University, where he was an adjunct faculty member. He has teaching experience at Kent State University, Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy, Franciscan University of Steubenville, and as a private music instructor.
