Four Westminster College students recently received Ann M. Kendlehart Scholarships.

The $4,123 scholarships, funded by The Pittsburgh Foundation, were applied to tuition for the 2007-2008 academic year.

Ashley Carnahan, a junior business administration major, is a daughter of Nick and Barbara Sedunov of Greensburg and a graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School.

Kelly Mayhue, a senior public relations and business administration major, is a daughter of David and Linda Osterburg of Marble and a graduate of Christian Life Academy.

Daniel Orrison, a senior business administration major, is a son of William and Rachel Orrison of Washington and a graduate of Trinity High School.

Kylee Young, a junior accounting and business administration major, is a daughter of Richard and Mary Ann Young of New Castle and a graduate of Mohawk Area High School.

"We are grateful to the Ann M. Kendlehart Scholarship Fund and The Pittsburgh Foundation for their support of bright, motivated students, who represent the future of our region," said Gloria Cagigas, vice president for institutional advancement at Westminster.

The Pittsburgh Foundation is one of the oldest community foundations in the U.S., awarding more than $36.8 million in grants in 2006. The Foundation works to improve the quality of life in the region by evaluating and addressing community issues, promoting philanthropy, and connecting donors to the critical needs of the community.
