Eight Westminster College faculty recently received promotions.
Dr. David L. Barner was promoted to professor of broadcast communications. He is chair of the Department of Communication Studies, Theatre, and Art and has been with Westminster since 1981. He earned his undergraduate and master's degrees from Shippensburg University and his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Nancy J. DeSalvo was promoted to associate professor of music. The chair of the Department of Music, she has been with Westminster since 2000. She earned her undergraduate degree from Youngstown State University, her master's from Manhattan School of Music and her doctorate from The Cleveland Institute of Music.
