Twenty-two Westminster College seniors will give their psychology capstone presentations Thursday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. in Hoyt Science Resources Center rooms 150, 152, 165, and 166.
"The senior capstone is a two-semester project that culminates in students designing, conducting, and reporting research that relates to their interests in psychology," said Dr. Jamie McMinn, Westminster assistant professor of psychology. "At the end of their time in capstone, students will have a set of research and critical thinking skills that will prepare them well for graduate or professional work."
The final component of Liberal Studies at Westminster is a senior capstone course, which is at least a four-semester-hour course within the major designed to provide an opportunity for students to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of their major field.
