Thirteen Westminster College professors have offered to shave their facial hair for a good cause.
Students and the campus community can stop by the TUB in the McKelvey Campus Center and donate money for the professor they most want to either "save or shave" his facial hair. The professor with the most money collected by Monday, Dec. 11, will either save or shave his facial hair, depending on the public's request.

According to Facial Hair Fundraiser organizer Dr. Jeff Bersett, all proceeds from the fundraiser will help the family of three year-old Jordan Jack, who has been diagnosed with Griscelli Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that has left him severely disabled. "The spirit of your giving will be a welcome gift during the holiday season," Bersett said.

Those risking their beards and moustaches are as follows: Dr. David Swerdlow, professor of English; Dr. Matthew Sivils, assistant professor of English; Dr. Timothy Sherwood, assistant professor of chemistry; Dr. David Shaffer, associate professor of computer science; Dr. James Rhoads, associate professor of political science; Dr. Bryan Rennie, associate professor of religion; Dr. Joel Postema, assistant professor of Spanish; Dr. James Perkins, professor of English; Dr. Jamie McMinn, assistant professor of psychology; Dr. David Goldberg, assistant professor of philosophy; Dr. Timothy Cuff, assistant professor of history; Dr. Edward Cohen, associate professor of political science; and Dr. Jeff Bersett, assistant professor of Spanish.

Contact Bersett at (724) 946-7259 or email bersetjt@westminster.edu for more information, or visit www.caringbridge.org to learn more about Jordan Jack.
