"The choir will be singing songs showing the different sides of love: amorous love, unrequited love, love of God, and love of life," said Dr. Robin Lind, director of choral activities at Westminster College.
The program features "O My Luve's Like a Red, Red Rose" and "The Proposal" both accompanied on the piano by Jamie Davis, a freshman music performance major from Warren, Ohio, and "Tribulations" accompanied on the organ by Dr. Elizabeth Harrison, assistant professor of music and college organist at Westminster College.
Other numbers include "Rejoice," "Set Me as a Seal," "You Stole My Love," and "Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier," which will be sung by the women of the Concert Choir.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Lind at (724) 946-7287, or e-mail lindra@westminster.edu.
