Mackenzie plans to discuss "How Does the Kennedy Center America College Theatre Festival Help Small Colleges?"
"This national festival provides opportunities for college students to share their work with peers and faculty from other institutions," Mackenzie said. "It's particularly valuable for students at smaller schools like ours because they have an opportunity to see what is happening in the larger world of educational theater. Actors, designers, and playwrights all have the chance to see and be seen through the various scholarship and award programs they sponsor."
Mackenzie, who came to Westminster College in 2001, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, his master's from Michigan State University, and his Ph.D. from Wayne State University.
