Members of the Westminster College Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) collected and donated clothing for the Lawrence County Social Services, Inc. and the United Community Services of Lawrence County, Inc.

"We would like to thank the students and faculty at Westminster College for the clothing donations made to the SUITable Connection," said Janice Gathers of the United Community Services.  "I had the opportunity to meet with Lisa Bohaychick and Christina Contes of SIFE, and we discussed how this organization is striving to make a positive impact in the surrounding communities."

The members of SIFE set up collection boxes throughout the campus to gather "interview clothing" for the low-income families of Lawrence County to wear during interviews and on the job.  Some clients have already taken advantage of this opportunity.

SIFE is a club designed to provide students an opportunity to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through learning and practicing principles of free enterprise.    Tom Rosengarth, associate professor of accounting, is faculty advisor for SIFE.

Bohaychick, president of SIFE, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bohaychick, 4164 Frederick Dr., New Kensington, and a business administration major.  She is a graduate of Kiski Area High School.

Contes, vice president of SIFE, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Contes, 1100 Woodmont Ave., New Kensington.  An elementary education and Spanish major at Westminster, Contes is a graduate of Valley High School.
